Option to set shipping cost through product feature

Is there a way to set shipping costs individually for each product when editing individual product(s)?
Prestashop has this feature (where you can set the shipping cost separately for each product), but I did not see it in the OpenCart demo. The only way I could see in the demo is to set global shipping features in the shipping module.
It would be very helpful to be able to set individual shipping cost(s) with each product (which would override the shipping module settings).

Ultimate Shipping can do this by utilizing any product data field as the shipping cost (or a comparison to check whether it should be part of a shipping charge). It can also call other shipping methods for rates for other products, and then combine all of it into a single charge.
