In the root of my shop (1.5.6.1) there is 1 map that stays empty: cache. Can somebody tell me why this is not use by the system, but is installed with the installation procedure.
/cache > empty
/catalog > filled
/rest of the maps > filled

Thanks in advance.

Give permission 777 to that server.

it will store cache files when you start using front end.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Cache was already assigned with: 777
What cache files are dropped there?
vqmod has his own.
system/cache is alreayd there and filled correct
so why the extra root map /cache?
I have 3 stores in Opencart. All are empty in /cache.

There isn't a cache in the store root. OpenCart has two:

/image/cache/data/
/system/cache/

And vQmod has one:

/vqmod/vqcache/

Then I did something and not remember it.
Read the install files and it is correct no /cache is written.
My failure.
