Images Not Showing and Won't Upload in Admin Settings

I have clean installed the latest version of your software, however when accessing Admin > Settings > Images I cannot see the images, I cannot upload images. It shows as uploading however when I access the menu again it just shows a blank space and the image name. The image/cache and image/data folders are already set to 777 and this all worked fine on previous versions. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

Did you try to upload an image via ftp to your image folder and see if it is available for you to select when editing a product?
Since the demo images are displaying okay, it looks like your permissions are correct for the image folder and your links look correct as well.
Other thing I would suggest is deleting and reuploading the filemanager files making sure you are using binary file mode in ftp. admin/controller/common/filemanager.php is the file. It might be corrupt.

Thanks for the assist. Tried it and it didn't work unfortunately. I have uploaded a screenshot of the interface - as you can see when I'm adding folders it seems to showing them replicated however when I check WinSCP I can see that the folders have been created correctly.
Afro is officially confused.

In addition I have also noticed that the folders I created are not being replicated in the cache/data folder at all. This would indicate that for some reason OpenCart isn't completing part of the creation protocol. This is very puzzling.

Download v1.5.6.3 and upload all of the files. There is no need to run the upgrade script because there are no database changes.

my site was running fine on 1.5.6.2 but on uploading 1.5.6.3 the images are not showing and error coming up on front end and in admin panel.
