I mentioned this before after tracking his IP trying to resell other peoples work under a different account!

Not surprising, considering Mijoshop is pretty much a gigantic rip-off of OpenCart...

Might be preaching to the choir, but for anyone who finds themselves reading this: don't use MijoShop. It was permanently banned for life from the Joomla! Extension Directory. My own experience is that they are unethical and can't be trusted. Beware.

Use pure OpenCart. It's a lot leaner and faster. Any features that you need can be added with the vast library of OpenCart extensions available. This includes blogging, articles, forum, etc. A good developer can extend OpenCart features to support any requirements.

i have already banned multiple accounts from him trying to buy extensions.

I just got received email from them asking me to add mods to their website (what i will not do):) but that is strange how it can be simply take the script that was developed not by them change admin colors and front end colors and claim it as a new script this should be claimed on DCMA or how it is called for closing such website as a lot of not knowing users (whe never seen real opencart) will go with them

I also received a couple of emails from this mob asking if I wanted to be on the development team, and another asking if I wanted to sign up to their marketplace. I have not answered any of them, and I'm not going to.

I'll admit that I had a look at their site (and even downloaded a copy of "their" project), but, then I read that they had been involved with mijoshop/miwishop ... (no need to say anymore about that!)

Very bad marketing, to think so, you should make sure, not to publish a single Line, on the Web, without leaving traces, because that's, what counts, to get 'known!'.

I've been involved with OpenCart for about seven years and, in that time, I have used the name "fido-x" on this forum. There are very few people here who know my real name. The emails that I received from this guy were not addressed to me as "fido-x" but by name! I don't know who he is, but he seems to know who I am.

Yeah, I got one of those as well. However, this one came through the proper channels (ie. my website's email address), rather than my personal email address.

This same guy (Denis Dulici) copied our free page cache extension for his "arastta" opencart clone. He did rewrite just about every line, but it's pretty clear where he started from: http://i.imgur.com/bWADpvi.png

I confronted him by submitting a pull request to be added to the CREDITS file, since he stripped out all of the copyright text.
He says the image above is just a coincidence. I guess when you spend so much time telling lies, you can say just about anything with a straight face.

Hes using one of Adikons extensions that he's selling on the opencart store for 39 USD.

Adikon has sent many emails requesting that his code be removed.

Denis Dulici has it installed on over 16,000 stores without paying a penny.

that's 624,000 USD!
