Hey guys,

Got a store in the UK.. my client is being difficult and wants certain shipping fees.

Basically he's given me weight brackets for UK Mainland.. which is great. But if you're not UK Mainland, so Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man etc.. he wants it to charge a different price when the order is over a certain weight.

The postcodes he's supplied for the Non-UK Mainland are:

IV3 – IV56, IV63, KW1 – KW17, PA20 - PA49, PA60, PA78,0, PH19 –PH44 .PH 50
HS (ALL), KA 27, ZE (ALL) BT (ALL),IM (ALL), TR21 –TR25, JE (ALL), GY (ALL) PO30 – PO 41

Can anyone explain how to do this?

Many thanks,

Ben

You can do this with Formula-Based Shipping. You'd need to set up a Weight-Based rate for each area, then restrict it using the Postcodes field. If you could restrict your mainland rates by geo zone, then you wouldn't need to enter any postcodes there.

Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site (which includes some examples of various set-ups using the "Show Examples" button), and if you're interested let me know at www.getclearthinking.com/contact if you have any further questions.
