Oddworld Novelty gifts now live

Hi,

I just wanted to post my new store, has only been live for a few weeks (have tinkering with it for quite a while though )

Not sure its just me (doubt it since all other sites are fast) but your site loads extremely slowly. I also got "too many connections" error several times browsing your site so I would consider upping your hosting plan or looking for a better host.

I had problems telling what your site was about - in fact, due to the naked/sexy women images, I thought at first it was an adult toy site. Wasn't until I scrolled way down to see your latest products I realized it was a novelty store. You might want to add something above the fold (top half of page) such as in your header or logo that explains it's a novelty shop and that you are based in Australia. Your other graphics are good - I like the slideshow ones.

Then there are the basics everyone forgets to put up front - how does someone contact you for questions? Where do you ship to? I'd put your free shipping graphic much higher as it's a selling feature and burying it at the bottom of the page isn't going to get you seen.

Remember you need to capture someone's attention immediately or they will click off your site to a competitor.

using the same tool, my gothicplus.com site loads in 1.31s (thanks Evolve! ) so, I would say it's not me seeing your site loading slowly.
