Hi - Can someone point me to how I add a Top Menu Bar and a Left Bav Menu, just like (as an example) http://www.babyography.net.au/ ?
Mine is at http://ecociseinternational.com/store. Wasn't sure if these Nav options come from Themes or Extensions or ?

in your admin goto catalog > catagories > edit your category > data tab
there is an option that will allow you to add top level categories to the top. check this box and they will show there.
in admin goto extensions > modules > catagory
this will allow you to add the categories to the left side of whatever pages you want them on
