Does this Extension exist?

Hi folks,

I am looking for what I think would be properly classified as an Order Totals extension but it may be a shipping one I could see it classified either way. At any rate I would love to implement a set of business rules as follows:

Open Cart store with multiple categories of products for for simplicity all it Pens, Pencils and Paper. I want order totals on an order of $25 or more of either Pens or Pencils in any combination to receive Free Shipping. I want Paper to never get free shipping and any order of say $10 of Paper will not qualify nor count for the $25 of Pens or Pencils getting free shipping for that.

Ideally I would love for the customer to see the "Saver shipping" of what the cheapest shipping for that $25 would have been had the rule not applied shown. Also an order of mixed Pens and Paper would ship just the Paper as paid shipping items with that weight alone.

Currently I am running an OC v1.5.1.3 install with vqMod 2.3.2 if that will matter.

So my question folks is can this be done with what's currently available or is it a bit to complex for the moment?

If you just want different shipping costs based on category, take a look at Category-Based Shipping. It can create different rates for different categories, then combine them into a single cost displayed to the customer.
