Problems with editor (Can't insert links)

Hi:

I'm having a problem with the text editor. When I click on the inset link icon, a menu appears (as attached file Capture01.jpg) but can't save it.

Once I click on OK nothing happens and if I try to close the dialog, a message appears but none of the options (OK or Cancel) can close the dialog. See attached file Capture02.jpg

The only way to close it is to close the browser tab and start again.

I guess it is a permissions problem but no clue how to track it down.

Any idea?

All I can suggest would be to try changing the CK Editor for a better version like this free extension

I had exactly the same problem. I found that it occurred when operating in IE but not when operating in FF or Chrome.

many thanks. That was the problem. For any reason it does not work in IE. Changed to Chrome and works OK.
