More user friendly Admin panel

I know that there are themes out there but let's face it first impression is important and you don't know or think about themes for admin panel when you have just entered it for the first time.

I think simple tweaks would make things better/easier. Anyone going into the admin panel can see what would make it easier. The product list for example has very little Edit links on the right. Making them bigger or even better make the whole row hover-over highlitable and clickable would make it faster to make changes.
Also the row of each listed product is almost empty some quick features could be put straight onthere. For example Availability of the product, to just click/tick it without getting and looking somewhere inside the product page tabs.

There are many more features that could be changed with simple tweaks for much better performance and speed like admin home page providing more visual information and some layout options having more sensible access. Like Carousel module uses banners from the Design->Banners menu and you end up constantly switching between those two places to adjust different features which are not logically separate (in both places you have Enable feature, images are in one place but their number/limit in different place and so on).

OpenCart's administration is already so much more user friendly compared to other software out there. OpenCart 2.0 will have a mobile friendly theme and a new admin UI. You might want to stay tune for it
