Stock Quantity Link/Sync

Hi,

The basic thing I am looking for is some way of syncing/linking the stock quantity of two separate products, and also syncing the stock quantity of a product and a separate products option.

The reason for this is at the moment I have let's say a product called t-shirt red. I also have another product which is something completely different but has an option in it which is also the t-shirt red.

I would like to be able to link/sync the stock of the product 't-shirt red' and also the option 't-shirt-red' from a different product.

Is this possible? I would be willing to pay for someone to make an extension for this.
