Shipping help

My client has different shipping fees per product, unfortunately they are not weight based and not flat charged.  Can anyone help with setting up the shipping costs on the system.

You will have to create your own item based shipping module. Probably as an extension of the zone based shipping module which will allow you to set shipping rates per geo zone, per item.

Thanks, I managed to sort that shop out.  But I'm now having a problem setting up weight based shipping for a different client. no matter what I put into the Zone Cost field it doensn seem to work, I have searched to forum but nothing seems to work.  Can you help?
