custom header links not showing in mobile browser

I've edited my header.tpl to manual include an additional header link to an information page which then links to a product page. When I view the website from a mobile device it shrinks the page down and lists the links as a category drop down. When this happens it excludes my manual link because it is not an opencart category.
Does anyone have an idea on how I can fix this.

I have some php knowledge but am no master.

Look again in header.tpl

If the template is responsive there is a large chance that you have a second menu called 'mobile-menu" or something similar

You must insert the url in the mobile menu too..since in the mobile version of the theme..the normal menu is hidden and the mobile one kiks in.

In the desktop version..the mobile one is hidden.
