import/export causing site to crash

i have 2 sites running
one site has 1.5.4 and runs fine with sellya template and import/export.

I have a created a new site with 1.5.6, added import/export, uploaded new version of template template and import vanished from admin.
I guessed a file must have been over written so i re uploaded import/export.

Now if i click on export the site just says 'waiting for .....com' and gets stuck ina loop.
Cant go anywhere in admin and cant go on main site.

Any ideas what would cause this?
Not sure what the offending file would be...

What do the /system/log/ and /vqmod/log/ files say?

You might need to go back into System / User Groups and Select All permissions in both boxes, again.

Refer template problems to template authors.
