Updated from 1.3.2>1.3.4>1.4.0 Getting Content Encoding

I Updated from 1.3.2>1.3.4>1.4.0 I am getting the following error when I go into the products: (In the admin area)

Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
* Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Here is what I have done.
1. backed up database,
2. I downloaded 1.3.3
3. Only applied the database changes.
4. backup the database that has the changes of 1.3.3.
5. Then downloaded 1.4.0 overlayed the files
6. Went to website it made me run the install scripts
7. after install completed restored database
8. Noticed I was getting Demo data (mac stuff) and my stuff mixed. in the related area.

After reading in the bug section I set in the setup/server/compression to 0 seems to fix it. It was set to 4.

I am a newbie to this opencart thing:). Just wondering if some one can point in right direction.
'System->Settings->Server ' I see it more than once but dont know where to do it. Can some one help me wher i can do this ?

admin->Systems->settings->server
Output Compression Level: change that to zero

Hi Mate,

My Apologies was not too clear I suppose. I was unable to login into Admin screen so no choice other than to tap the DB. I updated the same in DB and it worked.
