I've just purchased blog pro from OC Extensions, and uploaded all files correctly.

Everything is there, from permission requests to the included modules I can install, apart from the one main thing. It is supposed to add a tab on the admin panel called BLOG, and it has not.

I seem to always have this problem with extensions that require to do this, is it a setting on my end that is causing this?

The install is here: http://www.oc-extensions.com/Blog-Pro and I followed it exactly (as I use non-default theme).

Its doing my head in, I've contacted them about this but I have a feeling its something on my end as everything is there apart from this admin "blog" tab so i cant actually install it.

This module was not cheap either!!

The only thing I have changed from default is the admin folder. I've changed it to a different name for security reasons, so I also changed the name of the admin folder from the module files. Would this cause the issue at all? Do I need to leave it as admin?

Solved it. This is something not mentioned in any module I have yet to see and I think is important people should know.

If you've changed your ADMIN folders name for security reasons, the XML file in the module has a file path with ADMIN in it. Change that to your admins folder name and it appears.
