I've had a problem with my site for a while now, the seo urls seem to be inactive and not functioning. The site functions fine with out these activated but leaves me with this sort of path index.php?route=product/category&path=155 rather than my desired ones.

But I actually think I may have a problem with the Config and how it maps the site. We tried to migrate the site onto different hosting and had problems with PHP compatibility so we had to move back.

Its here I think something has been corrupted, I thought it may have been the HTaccess however this seems fine, Ive even checked that Aapche has Mod re-write enabled and this does but still no joy

My only thought may be that the root config and root catalog may be off but cant seem to find a copy in a fresh install, is this under a different name or what should this look like??

Both threads omit your version, what is it? You may need to reinstall in upgrade mode. But first which version is it?

In reviewing your adventures in the other thread, I gather that you are now back on hostgator. Which one -- Texas, Utah, Florida, or where? Which account type -- hatchling or bigger or big?

Try disabling your own two php.ini files, they may still be set for the other (interim) server.
