Hello, I just installed v1.5.6 and am in the process of setting it up. I managed to get UPS to work but I haven't been able to get FedEx or USPS to work! FedEx just says ERROR when I do a shipping quote and USPS says 'Authorization failure. Perhaps username and/or password is incorrect.'

I checked and double checked all my settings and everything seems to be in order! What am I missing to make this work?

Hey rocketfoot, I have a similar problem. My fedex rates won't appear, not even an error message. I am set up as a test account, what did you do to make it work?

I had to call FedEx and get them to move my key to production. I don't think OpenCart works on test servers.

That is what I was thinking, same thing with USPS. Thanks a lot!

Yes, I had to call USPS also. I got all my info for UPS online and it just seemed to work right out of the gate! You generally want to look for API or web tools from each carrier in order to get started setting up online and then call to get moved to production.

Hope this helps...

Ok, so I called FedEx and they could not help me. Said since it was a test server not a production server, they could not see what I was doing.
Opencart DOES work on a test server, I get rates from USPS no problem, the problem is FEDEX no longer has the same setup as before and I have very little programming knowledge.
I really don't know if I downloaded the script to the proper place in the files, and I have no clue what else to try....
any one for suggestions, please.

I couldn't get FedEx to work until I certified it and moved to production. Everything you need to do it is at this link...just follow the steps. I did have a hell of a time with all the keys that it gave me on the webpage as well as emailed to me. Just try each key until it works. You'll see what I mean when you start going through the steps.

Hey, thanks a lot Rocketfoot! I have one last question: which type of code should I download Java, PhP?

I didn't download anything from FedEx...I just used the default OpenCart FedEx Module.
