First off, I'd like to say that there are many wonderful websites here. Having seen how nice these other sites, I'm a little hesitant about showing mine. But here goes... any tip is greatly appreciated.
I kept much of the basic opencart designs -- just made some minor changes in (ex: colors and fonts).

Thanks Heartcore.
I'm not a web designer. For my kind of products, I just want to keep it simple.

Hi m3kds,
I like it.
It's impressive the websites you can get done with opencart.
I would choose one colour between black and gray and use it all across the website.
In the favicon I would get rid of the white background.

Hi aye,
Thanks for your suggestion. The image for favicon was cropped on paint. I'll have to change the background to transparent.
As far as the one color between black and gray? Do you mean font? I choose to add the maroon color to give some color and to match the logo's color. Do you think that this is a good idea or not? Maroon or some sort of brown shade gives me some sort vintage feeling.. yes? no? Is there a better color?
Thanks again.

Refreshingly uncluttered. Maroon or brown would be nice. Whatever you do to it, noting that you're contemplating grey or greys, keep the improved contrast that you have already achieved. You can tint greys by elevating or depressing particular colors modestly. In .css and in-line style, If you darken what are termed background, background-color, bgcolor, then you will need to brighten what is termed color (that being foreground, including text).
Thanks for the input.
Not sure where the grey belongs but I've added some box shadow... not sure if this is an improvement. I am a novice when it comes to web designing.
Background. Changing the background is not an option for me for now. Like you said, that means changing other things as well.
However, I get bored with my website's design too often and usually end up changing things anyways... sometimes I shouldn't have.
My goal is "simplicity". I want to draw my customers to the product with less diversion. (For example, I do not want the customer to see bright bold banner that can take his/ her attention away from the main product).
Question regarding SEO: I've had this website since May of this year... didn't really work on it much until July. I'm at around 6,000,000 alexa ranking. But I think many of my visitors are bots. Does more products help rank higher in SEO?

Hi m3kds,
I think I wrote what I wrote because I felt there were too many fonts or text styles cluttered on the same website.
I don't have that feeling anymore so I believe something has changed in the meantime or I was just mistaken the first time I looked at it.
You shouldn't have too much trouble getting the favicon background transparent,
you can work on it uploading it on one of the many favicon web editors out there.

Hi Aye,
Thanks for your input. It helps to know from others' perspectives. I did make some changes. I was sorta confused about the "grey" so I added some gray shadow the menu, side bar and footer. 2 other changes that I've made were: changed the "Add to Cart" link back to the rectangular blue button in the category page and changed the search's background back to white.
Now, I need to focus more on adding products and seo.
