All Images Despaired and Image Manager Not Responding

Hi I cannot upload pictures in the file manager and also all images has gone! This message is always on the front page of my store -

Disable PHP safe-mode (Or ask your host/admin to do so).

Btw, is it dangerous and would my site be unsecured after disabling PHP? What are the risks, is any?

You shouldn't get any security issues by disabling it. If you do, it's most likely a poorly configured server.

Take into account the feature was completely removed in PHP 5.4.0 and deprecated in PHP 5.3.0.
