Is there a way for the menu tree to stay in it's last open state?

Having to tunnel down and open the menu tree with + every time you upload a new product image, etc ... is driving me MENTAL ! :-(

It is soooo time consuming on repetitive task

Send images up via ftp en masse into /image/data/ and let OC make thumbnails in /image/cache/data/ to match them. If you make subdirectories in the former tree branch and put the originals in them, then OC will make them in the latter tree branch and put the thumbnails in them.

Time-consuming is at least a printable expression for the shortcoming you describe.

Thank you butte,

If OpenCart is using jstree ?
http://www.jstree.com/

Then can we have, or mod, code to 'expand all on load' ?

there's a free image manager out there that is very well, you can probably use that?

My initial reaction to the two jstree links is argh. MarketInSG is right. Hit the Extensions button top right and use the search box for free and commercial extensions, then branch out from there, such as into sourceforge.net, depending upon how adventuresome you are (probably very, given the jstree links).

He certainly won't find extensions or readily compatible image managers in sourceforge but if he decides to make his own he'll find all sorts of ideas to draw from there, not to mention projects ranging from award-winning FileZilla to semester projects that should not have been published anywhere. Then he might wind up really happy with an extension.
