Some customers want to add to an order after it has been placed.

Rather than creating a second order, is there a way to add to an existing order, that tallies the additional items as if they had been part of the original order and adjust the pricing and shipping accordingly?

1. If original order shipped, then add items as if in original order, calculate new pricing/discounts, but calculate a new shipping charge as if in a new order for just the added items

2. If original order has not shipped, then add items as if in original order, calculate new pricing/discounts, and adjust shipping for an adjusted existing non-shipped order

BTW, anyway to do this in reverse in case a customer wants to deduct from an existing but non-shipped order?

This would be a helpful feature

Thanks

I have the same question.

My customer wants users to add items to an existing confirmed order prior to it being shipped (ie; order of a certain status). Was just wondering if there is some way to do this or whether I'll have to develop this functionality from scratch.
