I’ve been searching for a product import extension that handles product options with the Required field.

I’ve looked at the demos for:

Export/Import Pro by JNeuhoff

Works great, but it doesn’t have options to add to the existing database (it simply replaces everything), because I have 5,000+ products with tons of product options, they won’t all load in one execution (I’ll run out of server memory)

Total Import Pro

Works great, lots of import options, lets you specify options in a very concise way on one row of the spreadsheet with options and option values separated by colons, but it doesn’t support the Required field for product options

CSV Product Import

Works great, supports the Required field, but each product option must be entered on a separate row of the spreadsheet which means the spreadsheets will be huge (I have thousands of products, most of which have five or more product options, and some of the options have 20-50 option values) – this means creating multiple spreadsheets in order to get all product data to load

I read a post in this forum that discusses how to add a field to Total Import Pro (titled “CSV Import Pro: importing additional columns?” - http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... ed#p380194
), but it doesn’t say how to add a field for product options. The Total Import Pro extension is $135.00, but if I knew for sure how to add the Required field I’d be willing to buy it.

Any input and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for considering our import tools! For your particular needs, Total Import PRO would be better equipped for your option requirements than CSV Import PRO. With the purchase of either product, you are entitled to free upgrades. Our Total Import PRO is going to be updated in the next month to include a Required field as well.
