is there and VQmod to remove the "Recurring payments" link under my accounts page. This is absolutely useless to us as we do not sell anything that might require subscrioption.

Maybe there is another easy way to remove it ?

Hi all,

I made this vqmod. It removes the links on the account page.

Enjoy

Hi,
I'm new to OpenCart, but i too wish to remove the Recurring link, and block access.
I've tried the extensions but i can't seem to get them to work.

I have the vQmod file on my site, and i have tried to copy the extensions to both the base of vqmod file, and to the xml file under vqmod.
But nothing is happening.

I'm also using the finnish language pack extension, in case this could be causing something?
What could i be doing wrong.
i've changed the files names to <file name="catalog/view/theme/default/template/account/account.tpl">
But no sucess. Any help is much appriciated!

Allright, never mind my last post.
It got solved.

Incase others a having similar problems:
I downloaded vQmoderator extension by Wizard72, and 'Remove Recurring links' by stokeyblokey.
Used the available guides to install both.
But all i actually did (apart from changing the files) was re-install the extensions about 6-7 times, shut off the computer 3 times.
And now it's suddenly working!
What exactly solved the problem? i dunno, but perhaps it could be a cookie issue!?
Anyway, vQmoderator and Remove recurring extensions are working exactly like they should!

The easiest way to get rid of "Recurring payments under my account" is just go to the following file:

/catalog/view/theme/your_theme/template/module/account.tpl

and comment out the line:
<!-- <li><a href="<?php echo $recurring; ?>"><?php echo $text_recurring; ?></a></li> -->

Hope this helps

But I still have a problem. On the right column there ist still a button "Recurring Payments" in the button list.
I din't find the right tpl file to edit.
Can somebody help me maybe?
