Hi Opencart entire community,

I just finished a POS to Opencart. Presents the demo. Can you give me your opinion?
Until Monday will not be able to buy, so the paypal payment gateway is a sandbox.

http://thetillmagic.comarcavirtual.com

The POS has everything you need to work in a shop at street level:

Works with the same database of the store (the store can be chosen to be used). Therefore, the stock is perfectly synchronized images, categories, etc. …
Two languages: Spanish and English
Prices may be chosen to appear in POS products by customer group.
This version has 6 boxes. Once a user (seller) comes in a box, no one can enter.
Invoices are issued.
You can add customers.
Returns Management.
You can add discounts.
You can put or take money out of the boxes.
There is a history of boxes and sellers.
Emits bar codes of products.
Have product search option by name or barcode.
You can add different payment methods.
Do not modify any files of opencart and installation is automatic (place a folder on the installation of opencart).
Touch interface.
- Support 1.5.4 - 1.5.4.1 - 1.5.5 - 1.5.5.1 - 1.5.6 - 1.5.6.1
- Simplified Invoice 58mm
- Choice Default Print : 58mm invoice or invoice DinA4
- Adaptation for tablets by pops.
- Search for customer invoices .
- Invoice completely legal in Europe and USA .
- Improved customer registration and incorporation of your tax ID to integrate it into the bill.
- Unlimited payment methods
Improvements in the search engine now runs freely over 15000 products data with an acceptable speed .
- Improvements in the cache and therefore the operation speed .
- Security Enhancements .
- Replaced the old log in a text file , for the record in the database opencart , without compromising the independence of the POS about Opencart continues using only the config.php file and the file db.php but without changing any file Opencart .
- Now uses barcode ean number , and any other applicable standard available, and if not there use the product id of the OpenCart database , so that one product '' ning lacks barcode .

2. does this also send out email statements/receipts too if pos customer would like?

3. can this work on a temp local db if internet is cut off but later resync with web db when internet restored?

4. can this work with barcodes? here is a php/mysql system that can (as an example):
http://www.phppointofsale.com

5. what language is this written in?

thanks

Additionally, how and on which machine is it to be installed (ftp or install, local or server), and what are the system requirements (Windows or Linux or any, tcp or other porting, etc.)?

Hi scanreg,

1.With this version of The Till Magic, can work up to 6 vendors simultaneously. Soon we will draw the unlimited version simultaneous boxes.

2.At this time no email is sent the bill, but we're working on it, and within days will be operational.

3.It works perfectly on a local database, but right now is not implemented automatic synchronization. The next version yes will have

4.The till magic generates barcodes. It also has a product search for barcodes, and can be used seamlessly with any barcode reader laser.

5.With The Till Magic can set the language of the product, the interface language of the POS, currency, and stock (opencart store where the products you want to sell via POS)

Thank you

Hi butte,

The Till magic is easily installed. You drag the files in the root of the store, give permissions to the config.php file, allow pop in your browser, and it will work correctly.

It is extremely light and the machine you need to move will depend on the amount of orders that you generate (for the number of calls to the database).
Works directly sucking the opencart database.

Thank you.

Hi JFOC,

If we accept resellers. Please contact me by email and talk on the conditions. zaqueo@comarcavirtual.com
Yes, it is installed as an extension.
You can add customers without entering the email. That is optional.

Perfect for shops at street level.

First of all Congratulations.
I am interested to purchase this module.
Before that a few questions:-

Does it do the Stock control?
Does it support receipt printers and cash drawer?
Does it Calculate change?

Hi sijas,

Thank you very much for your congratulations.

1- This POS has control of vendors, sales, logoff, and various statistics (sales / time sales / payment method, etc ...). But works with Opencart and extensions are very good to deal with the issue of the store, the POS has not built that feature. To keep track of the stock recommend using an extension of Opencart extensions store.
Future versions may incorporate control if stock directly from the POS.
One more thing, The Till magic works with the stock of the store, but you can choose the store that will work from the configuration.

2- This POS issue invoices (in order for the law in any European country). Currently there issues tickets for printers with narrow paper.

3- Yes, The Till Magic calculates the change to give. Enter the demo, make a purchase and add more quantity which is required, the program will automatically tell you how much money should be returned to the client.

Thanks :) :) ;) ;)
