I am not sure if this is a bug or not but it seems free shipping option is not working in the coupon code section. I just set up free shipping and it just shows a $0 discount rather than free shipping. This is kinda of urgent as I just offered to donate a portion of sales to the 19 fallen firefighters in Yarnell and cannot give free shipping or track coupon.

Hi there,
Could you please check your error logs by going to Admin > System > Error Logs.
Also, you have set the start date to the 7th? Perhaps that is the problem?

I found it actually works. It''s just confusing because it shows a $0 discount in the cart rather than saying something like "Free shipping". It also doesnt zero out the shipping method costs at checkout, which can be confusing to customers at checkout. It's not until they finalize the order does the discount free shipping show up.

Ah, I see. That could be changed with some simple modifications to the TPL and controller file I'm sure.

I would like to actually enable the function in a way that is not confusing to the customers.
So if the coupon is with Free Shipping, then the customer to see that immediate instead of first the cost but in the end, the minus thing..is really confusing indeed.
These Simple modification to the TPL & Controller file, do you know them perhaps pedro or anyone that could help here?
