So we got MySQLi working. We are experienced devs that like this light weight store/code, but cannot use deprecated mysql. We found the mysqli driver broken and incomplete and have fixed it, and plan to further test and debug to make it production ready for our store. We also plan to build some type of memcache module like what we have done in CodeIgniter.
What is the best way to share this with the community?

As I see , in your last version deployed on 2013/06/25 some issue regarding mysqli still persist. And the problem is not in host or other non-opencart thinks. Please check your code for syntax errors. See also http://anupamsaha.wordpress.com/2013/05 ... t-library/
