there is an import/export module that imports from excel spreadsheet, but not direct from a data feed. There is currently no direct data feed import, and most likely never will be. That's pretty much a custom built feature, as every data feed is different.

Unless you are selling exactly what the vendor supplies, always at the prices they set, and don't want to camouflage the item codes or alter the product names or descriptions, you will not want a direct feed anyhow.
For an example of why you should edit these things, do a google on "GOLD PLATED SUN RAY MIRROR" or "31397" or worse yet "31397 GOLD PLATED SUN RAY MIRROR"
I haven't done it in awhile, but last time there were over 20 pages in google.

If I could get someone to help me get my eCrater feed data into an acceptable spreadsheet format (i.e. what columns do I need and what do I name them?) I can put stuff in a spreadsheet and import it. This business of doing my items one by one is really starting to bum me out, I've got almost 300 items left to bring over to my OpenCart store!Xsecrets wrote:there is an import/export module that imports from excel spreadsheet, but not direct from a data feed.
