We're currently hosting on myhosting.com with VPS. Domain1.com\cart has opencart installed 1.5.3.1 (in the cart folder). MyHosting.com advised that domain2.com should be setup to assign webhosting to the domain2.com (not as an alias). This is done.

Now, when visiting domain1.com, all works as usual (whew!)

When visiting domain2.com, it looks EXACTLY like domain1.com. The store name is the same, logo, everything. It is acting like a domain forward, not a multi-store.

Default template being used that came with opencart 1.5.3.1

Anyone know what could be the issue? Many thanks in advance.

Did you set a different template or logo up for store2 in your admin > settings?

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

Used the same default template for both, but uploaded a different logo for store2. The logo is the same for store1 as store2.

Then something is set up wrong.

Double check your settings in cpanel and make sure you are not redirecting your second domain but have the document route set to the opencart installed folder. Then check your settings in admin and make sure both sites have their complete url http://domain.com/ with the ending /.
