The products I'm selling via Opencart require a webservice to be called before and after payment has been taken. I'm hesitant to try changing a current payment module because our commercial team has not yet decided on a payment gateway, I was wondering how an opencart expert would go about getting this done?
What about shipping modules? it's kinda like our webservice is actually delivering the product electronically, should I write a shipment module instead?
I'm very new to php/Opencart, but am an experienced C# developer, so this is all very new but I'm eager to give it a go and learn, so I was just hoping some lovely people could point me in the right direction. Are there extensions that do something like this already that I could model my attempt on? I've installed and understand how vQmod works.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
