Product By Country

I want to sort products by country on open cart home page for example if i am in UAE so all product listed in UAE will appears on my home and then i will select country USA so all product listed in USA will appears please let me no it is possible or not.

Interesting question. Theoretically it is possible.

This is what I think how to do it:
1. You need extra input to categorize product as UAE, USA or general at product admin
2. At front check visitor country with geolocation lookup by IP
3. Filter the product "country category" with GeoIP. We can use a session as one of filter parameter.
4. Create option inspired from how language change, to update the session parameter in point 3.

May be it's looks simple but there is lot of work to make it work.

Are you aware of any extenion/VqMod that does this. Additionally, will be great if currency can also be selected by IP. Thanks.
