I have done major upgrades to Chris.Li's "New/Back Order Entry":

- added ability to add products to the order that do not exist in the database
- added ability to add products from another products table (which is a mod I did for this specific website)
- discount per product in %

Now I am having 2 major issues with this mod,

- shipping cost is not being populated from the website automatically, you can select the shipping method, but it doesn't fill out the actual cost
- discount (coupon) is only being done INCLUDING VAT, this is not correct for tax purposes.

atm the "sub-total", "tax" and "grand-total" fields are updated upon adding a product.

So I need to find a way to add the shipping and discount within Chris.Li's "getOrderProducts" function (controller) so it keeps getting added in the order.

also I have 2 more points I am working on for this mod:

1) tax should be dictated by the tax_class_id
2) subtract should be dictated by the subtract option for the whole store AND each product, not the whole store only.

However, I could really use some help to tackle some of these issues... anyone interested? I can share the files and update you on what I did so far.

I dont mind trying to work out some of the problems..

I've actually progressed a bit and fixed the shipping cost thing, that's now being added based on the shipping method chosen in tab nr 1 and also does the appropriate tax.

I haven't looked at the tax_class_id thing yet as I've first added a % discount per product and now am looking at updating the order page for existing orders to allow similar changes as the updates I've made here so far, however this has it's own problems.

I have made an extension which will do what you are looking for. I have made it so you can enter a specific amount and quick details via the backend then take customers details as well as card details via the phone. Works well with me as most of my customers are offline and I prefer to just enter a total amount. It also shows up in your orders and you can create a invoice. Link is below:
