That would be a start but may not be enough. Different themes are coded differently. This may need a full fledged customization.

It baffles me that a mod like this is even needed. But thanks. Works great on 1.5.5.1.

Can you make the same thing work for OC-2031 please. It is shame that this feature is still not built into OC-2031 even after there being so much demand for this feature.

v3.0 released

Yeah, sorry, J2 compatibility was added to v3.0, which is compatible only with OC 3.x

And in any case, there is no version of this extension for OC 2.x

Hello.
OC v3.0.3.2
Default theme

Installed this extension but I can't get it to work at all. 0 stock items still have add to cart button and items are still able to be put in cart.

Only had one other extension installed "Square payments". Disabled that, but this still does not work.

Install latest vqmod (v2.4.1) from https://code.google.com/archive/p/vqmod/downloads Still no luck.

Any insight as to what I can try next?

Tried it, no difference. And as far as I know, I should not need VQMOD with v3+ anyway, right?

Vanilla install and the mod just doesn't work for me.

Is it still being supported? If not, would like to know so I can look for something else. This would have been perfect though.

You don't need VQMOD if you don't use vqmod extensions.
Vanilla install? You mean clean install?
If you see here, there is a version for 3.x

https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... on_id=7095

Yes, vanilla install, meaning no other mods, extensions or themes installed. Plain old "vanilla" 3.0.3.2, with VQMOD v2.6.4 from https://github.com/vqmod/vqmod/releases ... 4-opencart

Yes, https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... on_id=7095 is one I have installed, the appropriate one for my version of OC, v 3.0.3.2

Checked now.

3.x version is an ocmod extension, so you don't need VQMOD.
You have to install as OCMOD, then refresh ocmod modification, clear SASS cache, theme cache.

Well, I installed it the way the instructions say to install it. Still doesn't work.

I realize I do not need VQMOD for v 3.0.3.2, but I installed it anyway because I have no other solutions to get this mod to work.

Well I decided to do a fresh install with a fresh database.

Deleted Opencart and DB.
Installed opencart on new DB.
Installed this mod according to directions.
Did not install VQMOD this time.

Mod still not working.

Then I cleared the Theme Cache. Mod still not working.

Then I cleared the SASS cache. Mod still not working. And to complicate things even more, clearing the SASS cache crashed my opencart admin area.
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'Scssc' not found in /home/www/mysite.com/admin/controller/startup/sass.php:9 Stack trace: #0 /home/www/mysite.com/system/engine/action.php(79): ControllerStartupSass->index() #1 /home/www/mysite.com/system/engine/router.php(67): Action->execute(Object(Registry)) #2 /home/www/mysite.com/system/engine/router.php(46): Router->execute(Object(Action)) #3 /home/www/mysite.com/system/framework.php(165): Router->dispatch(Object(Action), Object(Action)) #4 /home/www/mysite.com/system/startup.php(104): require_once('/home/www/mysit...') #5 /home/www/mysite.com/admin/index.php(19): start('admin') #6 {main} thrown in /home/www/mysite.com/admin/controller/startup/sass.php on line 9
The front end did not crash, only admin.

So I deleted and reinstalled OC & db.

Deleting SASS cache still crashed my admin.

Looked for a solution and found that to supposedly fix this you have to reupload the admin folder and "fix the storage path in admin/config.php".

But it looks to me that the storage path in that admin/config.php file is just fine, so I have no idea how to fix this new problem.

Here's what my admin/config.php looks like (DB info removed)e...

Code: Select all

// HTTP
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://mysite.com/admin/');
define('HTTP_CATALOG', 'https://mysite.com/');

// HTTPS
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://mysite.com/admin/');

define('DIR_SYSTEM', '/home/www/mysite.com/system/');
