What version you use?

Have you refresh Modification and vQmod cache?
Does this happen suddenly, or after updating?

Checking it out on my test store that just had the default products on it and I notice that the products are not showing under categories properly.

Using category template 2, no products show at all - all categories when clicked show the "there are no products in this category" message.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

Is there documentation on gearbox? Never heard of it before and looking at it, it appears I could use it to set up a custom nav bar for each multistore? Cannot figure it out though.

Can you describe what you mean by "not showing properly?", because it's fine on my test.
May be screenshoot will help me to understand.

Category template two used to show subcategories similiar to banner, example.

Gearbox work like the rest of OpenCart modules, and it's released on default2 previous version.
You can put it at different store through Design > Layout, like other module.

You can see the documentation here, but it's still far from usefull.

No products show at all when you click on the subcategory. says "there are no products in this category" when there are.

Yeah, found that gearbox documentation but it is not useful at all. Guess I'll keep messing with it.

add /test-site/ to the first link in my signature to see what I mean. It still has the default data that came with 2.2 so if you click desktops and choose mac, you should see the imac one. Not there. If you search for imac it comes up though. Same with all other products.

If I switch back to the default theme, everything works fine.

In the default2 setting, choose template #1 for category.
Then if you want the desktop page to show sub category like on your site (banner like), put 20 at specific template #2.

Try and let me know if that solve the issue.

Sorry, not following this at all. I wanted the template 2 to be the default for all categories. So I set it for it and didn't put anything in the specific templates lines.

As I told you before, template category #2 will show sub-category like banners.
If category doesn't have sub-category, it will throw empty products just like what on your site.

May be I should change this next time to show products when there is not sub-categories.
But for now it's your choice what template category to use as default.

Okay, but when the sub-category is clicked, it still doesn't show products so not understanding how template category 2 is supposed to work?

As I told you, template only show sub-categories. If sub-category doesn't have another sub-category, it show nothing.
Right now it's must used with template #1 as default.

And I already told you before, I will change this behaviour in future, but not in the near future.
