with 1.4.2 have you fixed the mail bug. In 1.4.1 cannot send images via email has this been fixed in 1.4.2?

Can anyone tell me can we actually use openCart 1.4.2 in a live enviroment?

Is it just buggy or are there security issues?

There aren't any known security issues. And aside from the few bugs in the last few posts, it may be pretty stable. But I was under the impression that Daniel was trying to get rid of the last few major bugs so he could focus on the main site. I consider the / vs \\ thing major because I know it will cause lots of people to post the same question over the next few weeks. So assuming that is the only major fix to make, then feel free to use it.

Daniel has mentioned that he was planning on making a release tomorrow so that might be the final 1.4.x for a while. So try to find as many bugs as you can to get them fixed now.

I changed how the weight and mesurment tables work. the old data would just though up an error.

i'm trying to fix it now.

solution one would be to remvoe the www. or solution 2 would be to find a regular expression that would would tell if host name is a sub domain or not.

actually another solution is to put a simple redirect in your .htaccess.

IPN returns that use POST to a 301 redirect will drop the POST data

does the new 1.4.2 have a feature which allows you to have products which only a specific user group can see? that would really come in handy! just wondered if anyone has suggested it.
in the "OpenCart v1.x " forum, it would be great to have a "feature ideas" section, where users can post feature ideas and expand on them.

Anyone getting problems with uploading images? I've added in my first product and it went okay. Then when I tried to add int he second product, i'm having issues uploading the image. It keeps on saying "Waring. Pick a File" even though I've tried to select the file and it seems like it tried to upload the file.
