Thank you.
Trying to figure out if I should download the code in the SVN? How do I know what fixes are in the SVN code?
Thanks Daniel and the crew for the time and effort to deliver such a fine piece of work.

If you are running a live store then no you should not download SVN as it's development only and has incomplete features and new bugs in it.Brook wrote:Can we get an update on when plans are to release the next version of OpenCart? (1.5.2 or whatever version number)
Thank you.

no need to rush. It's actually been a welcome reprieve not having new versions every week or two.Daniel wrote:its getting there.

Exactly, and lets take another 2 weeks after that release for only bugfixing before adding new stuff to the SVN.

Mentioned this in the page speed thread - didn't really regard it as an OC bug. It's caused by fancybox's IE styling.tilesupply wrote:HI I am looking for a fix for IE with fancybox 1.3.4.
I am running OC 1.5.1.1 and IE locks up for a few seconds when the site is viewed in IE.
This happens on every page on the site, I know it may be a Fancybox bug but I am sure someone has a fix for it.
So in the fancybox stylesheet, consider cutting out the IE specific styling altogether, because
1) it's only for old versions of IE anyway;
2) it's only for the shadow graphic elements of fancybox; and
3) AlphaImageloader can cause page speed issues - even if you fix the URLs in the CSS.
Not an elegant solution, but others have tried it, and seen no problems in IE8 or later. I understand the shadow effect disappears in IE6/IE7 - that's all. Better solutions may be available.
This still leaves us with the problem of not having a download place specifically for a bugfix release, e.g. something like 1.5.1.2. We can't use SVN because, though it contains bugfixes, it may also contain new features with potentially new bugs making it usuitable for live sites. I went through this thread and wrapped up the most important bugfixes in VQmod XML files, but this is not an ideal solution.Xsecrets wrote:If you are running a live store then no you should not download SVN as it's development only and has incomplete features and new bugs in it.Brook wrote:Can we get an update on when plans are to release the next version of OpenCart? I agree I was just trying to save someone from a headache when they went and overwrote their store with SVN and found things are broken.JNeuhoff wrote:

Yes. Having the same issue. Been looking in the database to figure out where this is stored so I can change it manually, and cannot find it at allonlinemarketer wrote:Can anyone confirm this bug?onlinemarketer wrote:Possible Bug
Opencart 1.5.1.1
System>Settings>Edit (Second store)
Store Tab>Default Layout
Default Layout for second store is stuck on 'Account'
Doesnt change when changed to Default and saved, returns back to 'Account'
Any temporary fixes available?!

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
It should be stored in the setting table, look for the key = 'config_layout_id' and store_id = '1'.labeshops wrote:onlinemarketer wrote:

I couldn't find it anywhere else. Seems to be a bug.
When ordering, if the customer is not registered and choose to register, after fill the form and click 'continue', nothing happens... I think the div above the form should be re-opened and an alert be shown "registering done - login to continue ordering" (or maybe the user be automatically logged in). Currently, the user should guess by himself he should click "edit" on the profile div to login.
Thanks.

Could not execute this query: DELETE FROM `extension` WHERE `type` = 'module' AND `key` = 'latest';
Could not execute this query: INSERT INTO `extension` (`extension_id`, `type`, `key`) VALUES (NULL, 'module', 'latest') ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE extension_id=extension_id;
The above errors occurred because the script could not properly determine the existing state of those db elements. Your store may not need those changes. Please post any errors on the forums to ensure that they can be addressed in future versions!

I fixed the password thing but you can edit the payment details under index.php?route=affiliate/payment there is a link there.
