Hey Spinal, - Did the upgrade work for you?

I got errors and had to go back to my old one.

Does anyone know if this issue is fixed in 0.7.7 ?

I tried to upgrade but I got an error when trying to access my index page.

I have heavily modified my default template so I wasn't surprised when I received this error.

So I restored my backup and everything is fine.

I guess I'm going to install the new version somewhere else and see.

I didn't install the new version...I'll try it this week end and I'll see. See you on Sunday for feedback.

0.7.7 should have fixed this problem.

So far so good.  8)

I installed 0.7.7 in a new folder and after the install I went straight to the problem pages.

They work as they should. hooray!

Now, its just a matter of migrating the template I made for the old version. I hope I can do this instead or redoing the whole thing.

we'll see.

Thanks for you help Daniel
Thank you too Spinal

-Thanks

I'm having this same problem with a clean install of v0.7.7. The install went perfect, no errors, just can't navigate anything. I'll have to go back and try some of the suggetions above.

After a new install of v0.7.7 and no errors, I'm still not able to use the navigation menu posted below... I can type in each page manually but that's just a pain in the butt!

What browser are using to view the site?

Also, do you have a live url so we can see?

I'm using IE7, I sent Daniel a PM with an Admin link so he can login and try it.

I heard back from Daniel he said it's working fine on his end. It still does not working for me. I don't know what would cause this type of problem nor do I know of a solution. I've tried osCommerce, AgoraCart, cpCommerce, phpShop, osc2nuke, osCMax, Quick Cart and Zen Cart and haven't had this type of problem. Maybe it's a IE7 or XP issue? I don't know for sure, but I really like this software and hope I figure it out soon. Thanks for your replies!

btw; TRZL did it work for you or anybody else that may have tried it?

Thanks again!

It works fine for me in Firefox 2 and the latest Safari Browsers.

Also, The main links ( the ones you circled above ) don't go anywhere. Its only the SUB-MENU ( the drop-downs that pop-out on rollover) that actually have links to other pages.

My first question is.. Are you seeing a sub menu dropdown upon mouse rollover?

If not, you may have something simple as having javascript disabled on your browser.

My only guess is, is that you should try a new browser, or look to enable javascript in your current browser.

Yes I see the menu open (drop down) on mouse over, when it opens I click the sub menu (catagories) they do nothing.

I will look into the javascript settings as you recommend.

Thanks for the replies!

I went through all the settings and couldn't find anything set wrong in IE7 that would cause the navigation problem so I dumped it and navigation works fine now. I have no clue why IE7 malfunctions to navigate the menu, but IE6 works fine.
