OFFICIAL v1.4.9.6 BUG THREAD. POST ALL BUGS HERE

I have down loaded the latest opencart installation as of this date. I was able to successfully install the cart on my home PC on my XAMPP server, but I can not install it on my remote host server. I have created the required MySQL Database on the host server via CPANEL, but it is not being recognized. I am not sure what too do?

Here is the what the PHPINFO returns for the host server:


I can not get past the second page of the installation. Again mysql is active on the host server:


Any help would be wonderful.

Find a bug with payment module - paymate.
catalog/controller/payment/paymate.php
find
$this->data['pmt_country'] = $order_info['iso_code_2'];
replace with
$this->data['pmt_country'] = $order_info['payment_iso_code_2'];

I saw Q had solved this in another post,since this is the general bug of 1.4.9.6 and did not see post here,I'd like to write here if anyone meet this problem.
