i just cant believe this is not part of the core code.well done uksitebuilder for sorting this out, i have been trying to get this to work with specials for a long time, your vQmod works a treat for me.

I am in urgent need for this fix for version 1.5.5.1. Has anyone got fix for this version? Thanks in advance. Eagerly looking for a reply!

I am still looking for the solution for my OC 1.5.4.1 online shop. Vqmod from uksitebuilder is not working and gives error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/twhousec/public_html/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_library_cart.php on line 467

No. I ended up just disabling the mod.

I'm just starting with OC v1.5.6 and am in the process of adding some Specials.
To encourage shoppers to purchase in Bulk I added a Discount if 12 or more same items are purchased the Discount price would be Cheaper than the Special Price.
Normal Price = $5.99
Special Price = $4.99
Discount of 12 or more = $3.99
But like others here, when choosing the Discount Quantity of 12 or more,
Only the Special Price is given in Checkout
If the Special is removed, the Discount works fine

Anyways, What I would like to know is if the Mod on this thread works on OC 1.5.6?
I know I should just try it.. I've already spend hours on it, searched the forum, and about to go for a walk

Ive taken the plunge and backed up the shop files and db before I did it, just to be on the safe side.

Replaced the code given from uksitebuilder and I it now works on version 1.5.6 ... almost 100%

If an item has Options, for example to select a flavour, the Discount purchase is also given when going back to order 1 other item of a different flavour.

What I was hoping to do is entice customers to purchase a Case of 12 chocolate bars at the discount price, but now they can purchase 12 chocolate bars (great) and go back and purchase 1 strawberry bar at the discount price (no so great)

Now I'm thinking of separating the items so they have Boxed and Single categories.

I was hoping that this feature would have been introduced in 2.0 unfortunately it has not.

Does anyone have a fix for this for 2.0, i desperately could do with one...

I would love a fix to 1.5.6.4 ---- I get the same error:

I noticed this also. I also noticed that when printing the shipping list (despatch note) in 2.0.3.1, grams comes up as kilograms, not sure if i am doing something wrong? Also in 2.0.3.1, my discounts are not decreasing my quantity, as someone just bought three products for a cheaper price and the quantity stayed the same. (this purchase was made by an admin on behalf of the user)
