Okay, the contrib is working properly now. I recopied in reverse order the File Upload files, then those for the Product Option. Whatever happened, that did the trick. Many thanks.
I've discovered the problem with the images displaying. They are created with permissions of 000000000 and I have to change it through my host's file manager (WinSCP can't do it). That's new. I don't know why.
