As for me, i'm fed up with programmers who want to be paid a fortune to write one or two code lines, just because "newbies" as i am, are supposed to be stupid and naive.
Instead of helping me, making me happy and giving me the opportunity to pay for a more consequent job in the future, you've frustrated me and forced me to find a solution on my own... which is a good thing in the end.
Having said that, i'm sure that your solution would have been smarter than mine, but i don't mind.
Have a good day.
If each person would need to be happy with free help, then the Marketplace wouldn't gather any general demands (at least for the good extensions out there). In the end, by asking help for free, you are also crushing the developers maintaining their products to those who desired them before your post came along. On this day, however, that wouldn't really make a difference to know that one would be happy among others since the goal is to keep the extensions up-to-date as much as needed in order to build a better community. If you feel frustrated about that due to the fact that programmers are charging for custom jobs that people are specifically requesting for, that only goes on you and you alone to make that choice. The Commercial Support section of the forum has been there longer than your forum account was ever created and will still be there to assist all users requiring specific demands where the Marketplace or 3rd party websites cannot provide at the OPs creational topic dates on the forum. Which means, in the end, I don't mind that and not at all.PMAGO wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 1:17 amSo, you may be fed up with people who come in your forum to beg for free help, and i can understand that.

With the exception of users affecting programmers stating that projects should rather be provided for free while, depending on the project size being involved, programmers also tries to make decent revenues for the work well-done. Those should rather be credited rather than pointed at - especially when it comes from new users. Whether the users are new or old, it still shouldn't and doesn't matter at this point where Opencart supporters are providing and dedicating their time to assist other users. This is what OP users needs to understand.
