I think that the "Delivery Date" Module is a great idea for a module. Has anyone been able to successfully install the "Delivery Date" Module and get it to work with OpenCart version 1.4.9, 1.4.9.1, 1.4.9.2, or 1.4.9.3 ?

If so, what changes did you have to make in order to get this module working successfully?

I know that I have posted a few different times about the "Delivery Date Module", but no one has responded. I have tried to contact the developer with no response. I am a little hesitant trying to install the "Delivery Date Module"...

1) Does anyone know anything about the Delivery Date Module?
2) Does anyone have it working successfully? Is the module compatible with OpenCart version 1.4.9.3?
3) I have seen a few bugs posted in the one thread on this message board, has anyone come up with a fix for the bugs?

Please tell me that the module works great, so that I can install it with confidence. I think that the module would be a great addition to a few of my websites.

Try it on a clean install of 1.4.9.3 and test for yourself?

Thanks for the advice. Gee, didn't think of that...Don't know why some people find it necessary to make posts that don't add any value. I am all for posts if the add something to the discussion. I am looking for someone who already has installed it and has experience and or fixes for the bugs that have been posted on this board. I take it that you have no experience with installing this module? Anyone?

As the files used by this mod have changed in the 1.4.9.2 and 1.4.9.3 updates you need to past the changes in the files belonging to this mod via WinMerge to the files of OpenCart 1.4.9.3.
I don't think anyone has done this (yet).

I am all for any positive posts, telling someone to install the module themselves on a clean install is not a whole lot of help Let's assume that most of us are smart enough to at least try that. I guess that is the reason for my original post. I am just trying to get some specifics...trying to prevent a few headaches before they start. I have already seen a number of bugs posted on this thread, but do not see any fixes, maybe I am missing something?

Do you have a file list for the files that need to be changed for the Delivery Date Module to work with 1.4.9.3?

If you download the zip belonging to that Mod and compare these with the files changed between 1.4.9.1 (Files in that zip) and the ones from 1.4.9.2 and 1.4.9.3 then you know what files can be used and what files from 1.4.9.2 and 1.4.9.3 needs to be updated with the code from that Mod.

Not an easy job.

Same here.
The module is workin on 1.4.9.4 with some changes.,
But i can not change the date 1970-01-01 it sets by default.

would there be an version for 1.4.9.5 ? I really hope it does. Else i need to hire an custom mod builder?

I'm using 1.4.9.5, after modifying the mod in order to make it compatible with 1.4.9.5 I was getting the same error message "Undefined variable: deliverydate_status in ..." ! so I'd to play around with it a little bit ... here is the link to the modified version, that I could make it work on the FRESH OPEN CART 1.4.9.5 ! I just did it for myself, so far I had no problems but if you want to try it, try it on your own risk http://icut.ca/dd1495

p.s : I modified the email template to show the delivery date on the invoice, so if you don't want to have the delivery date on your confirmation email, no need to overwrite this file : "order_confirm.tpl"
