Has this been solved? I did determine that it works fine on a tablet but not a desktop.

thank you, disabling the In-Context Checkout in checkout setting for module worked
does anyone know why my paypal express keep automatically fetching wrong api details ?
if I replace the details it generates with ones found here

I appreciate this is a very old thread, but was there ever a solution for this?
We're running opencart 3.3.0.3 with the latest version of the paypal express extension. I can see the module is configured properly and linked to paypal, but when you hit the pay with paypal button the paypal spinner window opens and immediately closes. I've tried various browsers and platforms and the result is the same on all of them. I can't find any logs that might help me track the issue down.
