This is what a checkout page looks on Edge or IE (see attached)
as you can see the "pickup from store" and "cash on delivery" are selected, but the cart still shows the original settings "1-2 day shipping" and "paypal"
if i were to continue than i would be redirected to the paypal webpage.

Hi,
I just wanted to share that my experience with your checkout was normal on Firefox .
I managed to change shipping / payment info many times without problem.

I noticed that when switched to Returning Customer -- the whole section on the right freezes. It looks like its intentional but still is not very nice in my opinion.
Regards
Thanks for the reply
As i wrote before the issue is just on IE or Edge.
All the other browsers work fine.

When you select the returning customer option the right side of the screen freezes but a log in area appears, once you log in the screen will be back to normal.
it is intentional as i don't see the purpose of modifying anything on the right side of the screen before actually logging in.
plus the website is divided in customer groups so there are different prices once logged in.
ok ;)

It sounds like it's theme related. In my experience Journal2 is a bit over-complicated.

It sounds like they are dodging support so you could tell them that several developers have told you it's probably the theme.

So i have tried reverting back to Opencart default theme and the checkout still does not work, this time none of the different sections open up at all making it impossible for someone to complete the checkout (still only on Edge and IE).
This tells me that the issue is actually not theme related.
At this point i ran out of ideas :bash:
what could it be?

i test the version and it works.
Try to make a test with a private window ( don´t have cache)
You must delete the server cache!

Found out the problem was with the htaccess file. I modified with one provided by daniGo and it worked like a charm.
Thanks to all for the help.
