I know it's a old topic, but usage of vpn and proxy is on rise and the protection from them is still need, i have developed a module which works for the same purpose. it can block visitors from proxy/vpn as well by targeted countries(geo protection).

To block such attacks and collect IP addresses from attackers, we will create a Messor plugin (free opensource).
He can capture and repel these attacks.
