Now works subdomain but the problem now that if I click on the image or go to the main domain.
I want it to stay on the subdomain. Another problem is that the subdomain is French and the main
domain is English but the subdomain does not open as French rather than English

In settings, set the default language for the French store as French and make sure you have the French language files installed. In 1.5 its under the local tab, not sure if it moved in 2 or not.

Also in settings, make sure you remembered the trailing / on the url - should be http://subdomain.domain.com/

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

The multivendor mod lets people manage different stores I believe - haven't messed with it since I do everything myself.
If you are a hosting web site for store owners, you need to have boundaries.

Imagine if you logged into FaceBook, and had access to every profile on the web site.

Now do you understand?

Now imagine you decided you wanted to take your shop else where, then you should be able to without being stuck in a network or without taking everyone with you!

Nothing lasts forever, everyone needs a back up plan, and if you put all of your eggs in one basket, you'll lose them all if anything ever happens. If one person decides to cancel the web hosting or that they have to relocate their web hosting, then other shop owners shouldn't have to suffer from that.

So the multi shop feature is actually a very bad idea, a disaster waiting to happen. If it is used with stores that have nothing to do with each other when combining them into one folder.
When 1 person owns all stores, there is "no disaster waiting to happen". You are looking at it as if each store were owned by someone different - that is not how multistores was intended to be used. It is designed for 1 company to be able to have multiple stores and control everything from a common admin area.

I have moved my stores from one hosting company to another with no issues.

If you wanted to do a hosted cart type thing for others to use, that is something beyond the intended scope of multistores, though I imagine it could be done with some mods and perhaps customization. You as the owner would still control all of them, so if you wanted to move them to a different webhost, it would be transparent to any users you have - their settings would not change and it would be up to you or your tech to make sure everything was moved and set up properly. It's not that hard to back up a database and files from one server and restore them on another - some hosts even offer it as a service.

Jewelry in Candles does use opencart in this way - with customization they did and a new reps store is set up in moments. Not the prettiest template imo though they are still evolving (my store is http://jewelryincandles.com/store/candlelit-gems). Multi-vendor mod I think allows you to do a lot of the type of things you are looking at, but I've never used it so cannot say anything about that.

There are mods that let you restrict access between admins - this isn't something I've ever had to mess with since my company is me, myself and I.

I have another question.

How do you fix modules to multi-store.

You need to use layouts. I did a tutorial a long time ago on setting up layouts for multistores http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 9&p=182231

There are other topics about this on the forums too - do a search for layouts.
