Hi
I can't seem to get this to work on my options. Here is what I did...

Installed VQMOD which worked OK and uploaded STORE__Force_Product_Options_B4_Add_To_Cart.xml to the XML folder within the VQMOD folder.
My options still start with the first Option Value rather than Please Select.

Am I missing a step? I'm using Opencart version 1.4.9.4.

Thanks in advance.

Couldn't see a log file so installed vqmod_manager, nothing in the log there and it says the file is installed. I have attached a screen shot of the manager. Am I missing something as on my clothing options it still starts with Extra Small!!!

Thanks

Did you ever find out what you were missing?
I have the same problem. Copied over the XML file. Checked VQmod manager to see if it was installed (it is).
Checked my error log (nothing)

and it still starts with the smallest size.

ok, i figured out that you have to edit the XML file to the custom theme.
HOWEVER
now it does play well with any shipping estimator module that's on the page

Is there a version of this for tick boxes? I don't mind paying. So basically at least one tick box option has to be ticked.

The required option in the admin won't work for me as I have 2 groups of options and I only need one or the other to be required. In the admin it only works with both required or none required. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks,

D.
