Hi, I just installed this extension.
I have 1.5.3.1 version.

My store is totally new. Just categories but not products. If I click on export, Igot and empty excell file.

Is this correct?

what are the order of the fields to populte the products?

Well, I make it work, but now the problem is:

1.-If I Import the file, I can see the new categories and products, but If I click on them, I am not redirected. It is still on the same page.

How can I fix this? I am using 1.5.3.1

One was loaded manually and the other one was loaded with the excel file.
The one loaded manually works just fine, the other one, does not open.

Same happen with categories.
Any idea how to solve this?

We are using opencart Version 1.5.5.1 with hostgator hosting with 600+ products
Have installed your module few months back everthing was fine till date.
But today when we are trying to export products we are getting following errors :

Error: MySQL server has gone away
Error No: 2006
SELECT `product_id`, `image`, `sort_order` FROM `oc_product_image` pi ORDER BY pi.`product_id`, pi.`sort_order`, pi.`image`;

Please help us as this tool is very important for us.

If that keeps happening, consider changing servers. If it is rare, then wait it out.

You can try asking host support to install and enable the mysqli extension, then if they happen to say it is in place, you should be able to turn it on. There are several mysql settings that affect efficiencies and demand for machine resources, some of them only the host can reset.

You're not alone but the problem is not OC. Search top right for "Error: MySQL server has gone away" as a phrase (with the quotation marks) returns "About 8,950 results (0.78 seconds)" at

I try to run set.php but it gives error 500. I searched for it, but no solution so far. I changed file permissions, I moved all files to root of website etc. but no solution. My language_id is 1 I will be very happy if you can provide help.

There is no script called 'set.php' in OpenCart. This foprum thread is about Export/Import tool for Opencart 1.4.8.
