This is not really a bug, but just the fact that canceled comes first in an alphabetical list. If don't want canceled then you should choose something else when setting up your new store. Just like everything else when setting up a new store there is no default you have to enter it. In this case since it's a dropdown it just grabs the first one if you don't change it.TofuMan wrote:Very small 'bug' maybe just a different way of thinking - by default it seems orders received are set to 'Cancelled' when placed. I have seen this is the settings in admin panel when testing multiple store fronts.
I'd suggest default being 'pending' may be better :-) Either you guys have a different opinion or this is left over from test development? Thanks x

depends on what is happening in Asia. The forum member, sorry, I can't remember who it was and it's too long to scroll up, but s/he said s/he's in Asia and ie6 is still big there.Xsecrets wrote:As for all the ie6 css problems. As long as it is still functional and things are at least in the proper part of the page I say don't worry about it. People who are using a very broken 10+ year old browser should understand that some things may not look perfect. Having it even function is more than Microsoft itself does for hotmail.
If so, I think it's important to continue to support ie6 cos Asia is growing huge and we want their money

Seriously, I recently heard a USA supplier didn't supply Australia cos they got a big order from India.
Personally, I think IE6 should be banned but money is money
ive read the thread on both the release and the bug tracker, and i understand now why it takes so long to get a rc out there. so many petty people requesting petty things.
the Idea for a release candidate epically a first release candidate it to blast out and fix bugs. once we have a stable release you'll bet the dev / mod / feature request forums for the 1.5.x will be there and that's were we will post all manner of ideas. for now the best thing people can do to help the team progress is test it out. and report bugs to the community, bugs are things that can potentially stop the cart working, bugs are not the colour or appearance of icons and other non show stopper issues. and me for one go through these bugg forums and look to see if i can replicate the issue and then work a fix for them and it becomes tiresome looking at all the "im useing it live but it wont work" when you been told not to use it live or can you change to width of this or the colour of that or can we take that out of this. these are not bugs and don't help this stage of the team progress. i know Daniel and Q are way to nice to say it so i am
great work guys keep it up.
When installing a 3 step problem. After filling in all the count, when you click on opens a blank page. How can I avoid this? Tell me please how to fix it. thank you!
Reason: Confirmed - Your need php 5.2 at least
Also, the first affiliate I added showed a £489 balance, even though no orders had been placed.
Reason: Confirmed - Password
Warning: an unusually large number of this users posts have been flagged as sarcastic. Please realize and take this into account before getting annoyed.
well if you are customizing your store you can always fix all the css bugs for ie6 on your template. I'm sure any template will introduce more anyways.jty wrote:depends on what is happening in Asia. well normally I would agree with you, but Daniel actually asked if the theme could be improved so all the appearance suggestions were requested.johnnybebad wrote:Hi,

Figured this one out. You have to log into your admin panel and approve the affiliate before they can log in, otherwise they will get the log in error you mentioned above.eka7a wrote:Affiliate system not work login

Edit: Ah, you're right. If an affiliate is added from the admin panel, they get the error message when trying to log in.
So I think it will be better if the cust gets a message like : your membership hasn't been approved yet. You will receive a response within 24 hours...opencartisalright wrote:Figured this one out.
