Has anyone successfully integrated a non buggy, solid affiliate tracking system with the newest Opencart? I see that avaffiliate does not say its updated for the new version of opencart and I do not see opencart on idevaffiliate's list of shopping carts. Has anyone used these or anything else successfully without any buggy issues?

As it happens, I have just earlier today contacted these people about a OC link. You can see they have them available for many other carts.

Let me know what they say. I do not see it on their list. Anyone else? i know people must be using some kind of affiliate backend on their shops?

Right, it is not on their list, but I asked would they consider it. In fact, I asked did they write the files, or were they written by the cart developers / modders and simply supplied to the affiliate people.

I'll post what response I get, as I know others are also interested.

You wouldn't jump in a thread and redirect it for a sale, now would you? :)

I'm still talking with those folks, but with the option of $49 from a well known company that has a product that integrates with many shopping carts and paying someone who has just written the first one for $100, I'm more interested in the $49 product, with a proven company behind it.

You may be the best guy in the world and a better coder than anyone with that company, but they are a known commodity and you are not, at least to me. When I can buy a "name brand" for $49, I would expect to pay maybe $25 for a new start-up product.

In fact, now that I look, it seems to me you have done quite a job of spamming every affiliate thread trying to sell your product. I don't know how that will play out here, but on a number of forums you would get banned for such activity.

I want to stress that this is just me personally, but I would not buy from anyone who was spamming like you, if you were to offer the product for $5 and it was the best affiliate program in the universe. I cannot speak for others, but I do not deal with spammers, either email or on forums.

For anyone that is interested that doesn't mind spending a little money on a good piece of software...after searching I have decided on one of these two:

http://www.qualityunit.com/postaffiliatepro/

or

http://www.idevdirect.com/

I am positive postaffiliatepro is integrated with opencart and i am pretty sure idevaffiliate is. PAP seems to have much better support even though they cost more. I had a heck of a time getting ahold of someone at idev - just an FYI.
